Welcome back to day 2 of our Blog Hops!
First up, Beth Silaikas Keep Calm set!
This is a Go-To set for sure! I stamped GKD kraft ink onto GKD kraft paper using Beth’s Lots of Dots set for the background. The patterned paper is from the StampTV Here Comes the Sun paper from GKD as well (isn’t it the cutest?)! The sentiment and cupcake were stamped onto vellum with GKD white ink and heat embossed. I then colored on the reverse side with a spectrum noir marker (or course I don’t know which one!) and my faber castell big pitt brush pen (for the frosting).
And here is the card I shared at the Release Party Thursday night…
Same papers but this time I cut a banner our of the kraft and stamped the sentiment with GKD white ink. The hearts were just cut out of felt. So simple but this one may be my favorite!
Now onto Theresa’s Vertical Greetings 2!
Oh boy do I love this card…I’m a stitching maniac lately and here is a perfect example. I stitched on the GKD black and kraft papers, added a strip of paper from the GKD Ang & Me pack and then stamped the fern leaves using GKD kraft ink onto the kraft paper. The sentiment is stamped in GKD black onyx. I stamped the flowers on a another sheet of kraft and colored in with Spectrum Noir markers. Theresa drew a great image to color! I then fussy cut them out and stuck them down on the base! The button is from GKD (garden greens).
Here is the card I shared at the Release party (it’s a little bright…). I stamped onto GKD pure luxury white with GKD black onyx and colored with Spectrum noir markers. The paper is from the Here Comes the Sun paper pack. I ripped it into strips and adhered it to GKD heavy weight white card stock (base). I then saw some corrugated paper on my desk and threw it on! Added some twine and it was done.
Hope you are enjoying the hop and have found inspiration for these sets!
