I’m so excited about Let’s Talk!
I thought it would be a great companion set to any of the Diva sets, plus a trendy, fun, stand alone set!
For my first card, I cut out a speech bubble using the Let’s Talk silhouette cut file (it’s available FREE at Gina K. Designs!). I then used the negative as a panel. I stamped Hello in GKD black onyx ink on the GKD heavy base white card stock base and popped up the bubble panel on dimensionals. I then stamped Let’s Talk & the speech bubble in GKD black onyx and adhered it to the top. Threw on some GKD Ang & Me patterned paper strips and done!
If you were at the Release party (I showed up *very* late) or have been over at StampTV you may have already seen this card:
I made this using the speech bubble from Let’s Talk with the sentiment from Golf Diva…and of course Golf Diva herself! I stamped the speech bubble and sentiment with GKD black onyx ink. The papers are from the new GKD Ang & Me paper…(topped with some vellum). I am beginning to color with Spectrum Noir markers and I have to say, I absolutely LOVE coloring the divas with them! I’ll have a separate blog post all about that in the next few weeks.
Here is a card I made using Let’s Talk with Marathon Diva and Beth Silaika’s set, Keep Calm! I originally was going to put in one of the sentiments from Marathon Diva but saw this awesome one in Beth’s Keep Calm set and just had to use it! I love it when sets work together! You can use Let’s Talk with a number of sets and it happens to work beautifully with Beth’s!!
Next up is a card using Melanie’s newest set, Fabulous Frame!
Here is a card I showed at the release party…I had lots of fun with this one!
I colored in that beautiful flower with Spectrum Noir markers and it looked so tropical to me that I decided to frame Aloha Diva with Melanie’s Fabulous Frame! I masked the bottom of the oval, inked up miss Diva and voila, she’s framed! I masked all over the edges of this card to decorate each section with a stamp from Beth Silaika’s Lots of Dots set! I stamped the sentiment, from Fabulous Frame with GKD white ink onto GKD kraft paper. I stitched around the edge (I just fixed my sewing machine so you will be seeing stitching in a lot of things from me…)
Here I stitched again! Another card using Melanie’s Fabulous Frame set. I wanted to show it’s versatility and only used a portion of the frame image along with the silhouette cut file for the oval.
And then stamped the larger butterfly image with GKD white ink and the smaller butterfly & sentiment with GKD white ink and then heat embossed it. Whaddya think?
I hope you like the new sets as much as I do!
