I am absolutely in LOVE with these tags, and they were pretty easy to mass produce. I cut out the snowflake frame from the GKD season’s greeting silhouette file (psst…if you are a member of StampTV, you can get this file FREE!) onto Silhouette chipboard. I copied the snowflake frame shape from the file onto a new file and then pasted as many as I could onto that sheet. I have a Silhouette SD (they don’t even make those anymore..it’s old school) so I can only cut out 9×12 sheets. If you have a cameo you can fit about 3 more snowflakes on here! Regardless, here is what my screen looked like after I pasted onto the new screen.
You can see, I had some extra room on my sheet so I added a few circle shapes that fit inside the frame (I always try to use my whole sheet when cutting if I can). I did the same thing for the Fleece Navi-baa silhouette file. I copied the whole set and pasted again on the sheet (you could do this 3 times with the cameo). I knew that I wouldn’t be using the sentiments as much so I filled the space with random sheep. I cut this file out with GKD pure luxury white paper. Now I’ve got my shapes ready to go..next I need my stamps!
I stamped the snowflake image into the cut file with GKD color companions white ink and then embossed it in ranger white embossing powder to give it more dimension. I stamped some of the sheep in GKD color companions black onyx ink on the appropriate cut out sheep and then colored it in with copics. On some I glittered their fur and glued the cut out sheep image into the middle of the frame, on some I stamped them directly onto those chipboard circles I had previously cut out and colored with my faber castell big white stampers pen … I then popped the circles up on dimensionals…but the quickest way to do this is to stamp the ‘to ewe’ sentiment right inside the body! BAM!
Once you get rolling with these it is really so easy and fun to put together. I have made dozens and am about to make some more! Hope you found some inspiration with these!
Ho Ho Ho!
