Hi there! Today I have lots so show you so I’ll keep my babble to a minimum.
Melanie Muenchinger’s Stately Flowers 6 is full of amazing illustrations that are great to color, but also awesome for a quick stamp-and-go kind of card. I love that just stamping and coloring the rose in her set turns a CAS card into elegant art!
For this card I stacked embossed kraft cs on top of GKD pure luxury dark chocolate cardstock. Cut the rose image from the Stately Flowers 6 cut file, colored in with copics, added the sentiment and voila!
My next card is made with Beth Silaikas set Lovely Ladybug! And let me tell ya..The ladybugs & cards you can make with this set are fantastically adorable!
One of the great things about Beth’s set is the versatility. I made my own patterned paper here using one of the ladybug images with Gina K. color companions Cherry Red and Innocent Pink inks. The ink takes to Gina’s stamps like nothing I’ve ever seen. I then used the Lovely Ladybug cut file for the main focus. The cardstock is GKD pure luxury Cherry Red, ribbon is GKD Red Hot double stitched and button is GKD bowl of cherries! <3
Last, but not least, is a card made with Carolyn (Cammie) Kings set Stamp it Big!
Cammie made an awesome cut file for this set which includes a speech bubble that is just perfect for those sentiments.
Her set will be a go to that coordinates with just about anything!
Here is a card I made using Cammie’s set with scooter diva. Isn’t that sentiment in the speech bubble awesome? Did you know that you can resize images in a cut file? To make the black mat I copied the original speech bubble and resized it so it was just a teeny bit larger and then cut out in GKD Black Onyx pure luxury paper. The checkerboard image is perfect as a street! I popped the checkerboard square up on either side and placed the scooter in the middle.
